As the newest competitive member of the club, Jaye began taking figure lessons in November last year.  She attended a competition in Reading, thought it looked interesting, and decided to give roller skating a try.  .   Jaye’s favorite part of skating is enjoying time at the rink with friends.  Making the change from session skating on inlines to figure skating on quads was challenging, but Jaye’s artistic career is off to a good start with two first place finishes in her first competitive event.   Until recently, only Jaye’s closest friends knew she was roller skating.  She told others she was “playing baseball”!
